Note: Sunday, August 19, we
received an email from Doug, telling about an accident which left a young
man, Joey, in a brain-dead state.
...I called Rev. E. Sherrie Elijah with a prayer
request to be placed immediately on the web site. My wife teaches with Nancy
L. Her son Joey has been in numerous car accidents and this week was riding on an ATV
9 (4 wheeler) with 2 other friends and drinking. Somehow he hit is head , which is unknown as of yet, and is
in now in Brigham and Children's Hospital in Boston brain dead. He has not
received YAHUSHUA as his LORD and SAVIOR and Lisa , my wife, are to pray over him and have him receive his salvation. We
are believing that he can hear even though he is comatose for his Spirit never
dies and he will receive Yashua as LORD and SAVIOR. Then to
give us a sign. Then YAHUVEH will do the rest. Pray for a complete healing and what a testimony this will be to
YAHUVEH and YASHUA. Blessings and grace be unto you, Pastor E. Sherrie Elijah and this Ministry,

We began to
pray. Monday morning, the site manager was getting ready to post the
prayer request on our front page when he opened his email and found the
following message from Doug!

Praise
YAHUVEH!!!!!!!
Joey, in a
coma and brain damaged just a few days ago is now sitting up, with
movement in all extremities, eyes opened and even with his feeding tube
still in said his first words to his dad while Lisa and I were there. We
gave thanks to JESUS, YASHUA and praise to GOD YAHUVEH.
He shook my
hand. Keep up with the prayers for him and thank you Rev. E. Sherrie Elijah, site manager, and all beloved saints. Please pray for his parents
Nancy and future step-dad Scott who are about to get married in October
and Joey's dad Mike. Mike thanks you all for your prayers.
None of them
have received the LORD YAHUSHUA's salvation. Joey has been given life again
by only the love and grace of YAHUVEH, pray that his testimony will reach
many. Many that came to visit him were doing comforting things to the
flesh, moving pillows rubbing his legs and back trying to do temporal
things but all your prayers were doing eternal matters. I pray we have
received a new brother into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN and his parents and
friends. Just to remind us that even in the presence of YAHUVEH'S MIRACLES
one young girl there was 16 years old and pregnant with her second child.
(I don't know if she is married). Another was out partying with Joey's
girlfriend who turned 21 last night and the girlfriend was to drunk and
had a hangover so she couldn't even get up to come see him today (Sunday).
Joey incidentally turned 21 in this hospital this week. So many are lost,
so many don't even know YAHUVEH so many don't care. That is why we must
persevere in the LORD and in HIS MIGHT and STAND FIRM against the schemes
of the devil. Thank you YASHUA for the BLOOD that covers our sins that
heals the sick and brings back those that were dead of body and of spirit.
And may the anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT fill all our lives.
May the
precious BLOOD of YASHUA cover this mail and Joey, his mom and dad and
step-dad their family, Rev. E Sherrie Elijah, the site manager, this
ministry and all brothers sisters and YAHUVEH'S chosen people and all our
family's and the body of CHRIST.

information from Sherrie:
His [Joey] soul
got saved and he was healed from severe brain damage! I had told Doug and
his wife to go to Joey age 20 in a 4-wheeler accident, to pray over him
and despite what their eyes seen, to tell him to accept YAHUSHUA into his
heart! There he lay given up for dead, comatose, and because of Doug and
Lisa's obedience to the words Father YAHUVEH told me to say to them. They
are friends of Joey. Both teachers and Doug is a coach also. I had told
Doug, Father YAHUVEH said before he would heal Joey, Joey would have to
accept YAHUSHUA as Father YAHUVEH and Savior! Now we know it takes
confession to prove salvation, how can someone in a coma do that? Father
YAHUVEH told me to tell Doug, watch for any sign after he prayed for Joey
to accept YAHUSHUA, either on the monitor or movement of any kind, believe
and watch Joey would give him a sign that he heard the prayer and he had
accepted YAHUSHUA! I told him YAHUSHUA said Joey's spirit was there and Joey
could hear him pray! In a vision I saw the devil on the other side of the
bed, like the grim reaper waiting to take Joey's soul to hell, for he had
4 warnings before this accident happened he nearly was killed, now this
was Joey's LAST CHANCE! We prayed Joey, would live and NOT die to declare
the works of the our Father YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA Messiah!.
I must tell you
YAHUSHUA OUR Messiah sure surprised me as to what that sign was! Doug
called me on the day the Daniel fast started 8/17/01 along with Linda
Newkirk, and Prophet Timothy Snodgrass, we were fasting. Only I was here
when Doug called and told me about Joey. Timothy did not know about it,
and later I called Linda for agreement in prayer.
When Doug called
back 2 days later, here is the praise report! As Doug prayed he didn't
have to wait long for the sign that Joey had heard that prayer, this young
comatose, severe brain damage, some said brain dead! The boy raised up
immediately and focused his eyes in Doug's, and shook Doug's hand! Can you
imagine Doug's surprise? I told him I bet he was ready to faint! He said
YES he couldn't believe what he saw! PRAISE YAHUSHUA our Messiah! He still
heals, delivers, and raises the dead! Then Doug said he asked his dad that
was there to move the pillow! (HE SPOKE HIS FIRST WORDS!) Then he reached
for the remote control to turn stations on the TV! (Motor skills returned)
he had been a football player before recent accident! He wanted out of
that bed! I heard days ago they are transferring him to another hospital.
This is truly the greatest miracle I have yet heard about and I am so
grateful to have even been able to pray for this to happen! This young man
will be the FIRST to get saved in his family! I believe the HOLY GHOST
RUACH HA KODESH WILD FIRE came on Doug and Lisa, for I spoke with Doug on
the phone and asked for that to happen that day, which signs, wonders, and
miracles follow them that believe!
Update on Joey 10/8/01 from Doug:
Also, Lisa and I went and
welcomed Joey home last week. He walks slowly and his left hand is weak.
His long term memory is fine but his short term memory is limited. He told
me he knows YAHUVEH has given him one last chance and he has changed his
way of life. He owes it all to YAHUSHUA. He said he doesn't remember much
while he was in the comma but knew that he was not alone and that he could
sense and hear the prayers. I told him there was a great struggle for his
soul, that satan was at his bed. He knew that. He wants to be a testimony
to YAHUVEH and already has talked to a teacher to go and talk about his
life to a class or anyone who will here. He said you can go or any adult
could go and talk about what has happened to him but it would not be as
powerful as what he has to say. Praise YAHUVEH. Blessed be YAHUSHUA. He came
home on saturday and couldn't wait to go to church on sunday. he said he
hasn't been in a church in I believe he said 7 years but he wanted to
thank YAHUVEH. (I told him he didn't have to go to church to thank YAHUVEH)
He is believing he will be completly healed, so do I. He wants to go back
to college Mass. Maritime Academy again the doctors said he wouldn't be
able to for on a test he only scored 5 % having to do with short term
memory but they have consistently been wrong and YAHUSHUA has been Joey's
doctor.
